Dear friends and faithful supporters,
As the weather cools and the first snow has fallen, we are in the midst of planning our 34th annual Bowl for Life. It
promises to be another wonderful day filled with food, fun, fellowship, children’s activities, raffles, and of course, bowling.
We are pleased to announce that last year we raised just over $25,000. We believe that with your help, we can raise even more money this year. Our goal is to raise $30,000! We know that the only way we can do that is with the help and support of our many friends and family.
We need for people to come alongside of us and to get involved, whether that is by bowling or by sponsoring a bowler with your financial support. Please help us spread the word about Bowl for Life and tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family about this fun-filled day! What a great opportunity to make a difference and have fun doing it! If you are unable to join us for bowling, please prayerfully consider supporting “Bowl for Life” by giving a donation online here.
With the monies raised for MUBC, our medical clinic is able to provide free pregnancy testing, ultrasound imaging, STD testing and treatment, Pap, pelvic and breast exams, as well as counseling and medical referrals; in addition, one of our registered nurses has also developed an abstinence-based curriculum and has been invited to speak in health classes in 15 different schools!! Studies have shown that 85% of women who are considering terminating an unplanned pregnancy decide to save their baby and carry it to term after having an ultrasound and seeing their baby’s image and heartbeat.
Once a mom chooses life, we want to support their decision through our “Earn While You Learn” program. By
participating in sexual integrity, prenatal and parenting classes, as well as engaging in our one-on-one mentoring
program, young moms are able to earn “Mommy Money” that can be used in our boutique of donated items to purchase diapers, baby clothing and the many other essential things needed to take care of a baby. We are excited to share that we are once again adding additional services to our medical clinic. We are beginning to accept men at our clinic for STD testing and treatment, as well as for sexual health education. Because our name, WomanKind Medical Clinic, is no longer relevant, we have changed our name to Vida Health Clinic. Vida means “life” in Spanish and that is what we are all about here at Mother & Unborn Baby Care!! Because of the generosity of people like you, we are able to offer all of our services at no charge to the client or patient.
Our goal is to continue to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the young men and women God sends through our doors. With your help, we can continue to impact, change and save lives!
Please join us as we continue the fight for LIFE!!
